Set in the heart of a sumptuous 100-hectare estate, just 15 minutes from Brussels, Golf de 7 Fontaines is one of the finest golf courses in the kingdom. Accessible from major roads, straddling the language border, this listed site has just added 3 padel courts.

Since the confinement, countless padel courts have sprung up.
Douglas Weymeersch and Victoria De Kepper, aware of the potential of this new sport, decided to create 3 courts just a stone's throw from the golf driving range.

"With the aim of creating harmony between the two sports of golf and padel, we have founded a new, completely independent entity called "Sept Club". Golf members benefit, of course, from favorable conditions. They don't have to pay an entrance fee. But the club, which is recognized by the Padel Federation, is of course open to all," explain the concept's founding partners. Taking advantage of an abandoned area used as a landfill site, they had the bright idea of taking advantage of their undisputed reputation in the world of golf to add an extra element of relaxation through the game of padel. "Many golfers have already fallen under the spell of this new discipline. Eventually, tournaments will of course be organized, as will introductory courses (for young and old alike). And we're also working on a team-building concept for companies, with golf and padel days on the agenda...".

The company set up by Laurent Montoisy (ex-tennis pro and padel pioneer in Belgium) and Christophe Rochus (who needs no introduction) was responsible for building the courts. A landscape architect was also called in to integrate the courts into the landscape. An exceptional job, as today's idyllic setting of the "Sept Club", set between tall beech trees and a hedge of Portuguese laurel trees, testifies.

Members, visiting golfers and padel enthusiasts will find plenty to do on the courts, but that's not all... A clean clubhouse with an attractive terrace awaits them for a well-deserved nightcap. It's also worth noting that the club works mainly with local suppliers, in order to offer fair-trade products. For members, the hourly rate is €8 per person on weekdays (€12 for non-members) and €10 per person at weekends (€15 for non-members). Equipment can also be hired. A great way to feel good at a reasonable price!
