Since its foundation, Maurice Lacroix has never ceased to surpass itself, striving to constantly improve its products and create watches with high perceived value. The Jura-based brand has revisited its popular PONTOS Chronograph 43 mm model, offering four new models. Their sunray dials, available in black or anthracite gray, can be combined with a 3-row steel bracelet or a leather strap for a contemporary, timeless look.

An ever-evolving brand, Maurice Lacroix has revisited its PONTOS collection, creating new versions of its Chronograph model. In addition to the original timepiece, the new PONTOS Chronograph model features a series of small enhancements designed to enrich the overall experience of its owner.

The Arabic numerals on the dial give the watch a more modern touch, allowing even more immediate reading of the hours. The hour and minute hands are partially openworked and coated with white Super-LumiNova for improved visibility in low-light conditions - a luminescent treatment also found on the central chronograph seconds hand.

In designing this new PONTOS chronograph, the Maurice Lacroix design team sought to optimize the legibility of the hours and reinforce the overall sense of luxury. The flange houses an extremely clear minute track, while the dial features a sunray pattern that plays beautifully with the light. The chronograph's 12-hour counter, located at 6 o'clock, features a date aperture on a color-matched disk to accentuate the overall impression of harmony and cohesion.

On the back of the watch, a sapphire crystal reveals the automatic ML112 caliber. This movement is decorated with Côtes de Genève and a pearled finish, while the rotor is embellished with vertical Côtes de Genève and sunbrushing.

The watch comes with a 3-row bracelet in stainless steel or black leather. This second version features the M logo, a now legendary detail underlining its refinement and authenticity. Following in the footsteps of the famous AIKON collection, the new 43 mm PONTOS Chronograph features the brand's Easy Strap Exchange system, making it easy to change the strap without the need for special tools.

Another example of Maurice Lacroix's innovative approach to watchmaking is the case for the new PONTOS Chronograph. Following the success of the AIKON #tide collection, whose models are made from recycled plastic from the oceans, the brand now offers all its watches in a box made from #tide Ocean Material®. It takes 34 bottles to make one, which means 34 fewer bottles polluting the sea. In addition to a compartment reserved for the additional strap, this case includes a QR code that gives access to a digital instruction manual to avoid wasting paper and thus limit its ecological impact.

While the previous version of the PONTOS Chronograph was already undeniably impressive, the Jura-based watch brand has constantly sought to improve it to create the latest 43 mm PONTOS Chronograph, which lives up to its reputation for watches with high perceived value.
