Climate change & Antarctica
Alain Hubert
Tuesday, May 23, 7pm
TheMerode
6 Place Poelaert, 1000 Brussels

Having returned to Belgium a few weeks ago after his fourteenth expedition to Antarctica, Alain Hubert will explain the scientific purpose behind all these expeditions.
How has this high-level sportsman and mountain guide changed the course of all the expeditions taking place today? What are his findings? What are his concerns?

22 years ago, Alain Hubert and his wife set up the International Polar Foundation, which manages the Princess Elisabeth Station, the world's only zero-emission station. What new projects are planned between now and 2030?

What does Alain Hubert do between 2 expeditions?

This conference, held in conjunction with TheMerode, will be followed by a cocktail reception.
